welcome to inglewood ,
Sounds like some fancy boarding school in America, or a busy metropolitan area in England, right? Totally wrong. This Inglewood is a somewhat small town in New Zealand, right on the ocean on the edge of the top island of the country. Somewhat small because recently there’s been a boom of people moving in. That means things are getting a bit cramped though, and a lot of people want out. Especially those poor kids who’ve been sucked into the whirlpool of family names that have been in the same neighborhood for ninety plus years. Inglewood has kind of become a cesspool for teenage angst.
But luckily Lagneaux Industries has created a way to change all of that. They offer so many a way out of that rut. A golden ticked out of Inglewood and to Sydney - Australia! The base of the company is there, so no one in the town knows much about it. Sure, there’s a smaller branch in Inglewood, but they’re set out far away, and focus on a lot of natural stuff. Stuff New Zealand is known for, and none of the people in town care too much about. All they do know, is they really like the kids in Inglewood; you fill out a form, send it to the company, and then you can come in for an interview. No one knows for what, exactly; if you get sent back, you come home with a feeling that you don’t really know what you just went thought - what kind of questions were those they were asking? And if they like you... no one ever really hears back. Sure, there’s something fishy about it, but people just assume that they get busy; there’s a lot going on in towns that doesn’t go on in Inglewood. Some people get upset but, either way, Lagneaux supplies a lot of income to the area, so most of the time those people are ignored, labeled as crazy.
